Too true everyone There is some great opinions and feedback there. I think the track days will only become bigger personally with several ways of supporting this growth available to us. One way that Im sure will draw a large amount of support is a run at Wakefield in the future The key I believe is quality rather than quantity when refering to events

...Wakefield is a must. The track is perfect for Small Fords but also offers the option to stretch her legs down the straight.

I agree with Mark. We need to do a wakefield day. We would need to get a commitment from club members prior and I am sure many of us would be willing to pay more to use a circuit that is longer and more open. I think it is necessary as a change of circuit will generate more interest and we can alternate between the two tracks.

I would be interested in a skid pan day or a motorkhana event too.

Neale - if the "Getting Loose" Award was judged having regard to quantity and quality you would definitely take 1st place. However, Joel was not far behind, particularly with the spin off on the far side of the track.

There was no competition with Jeremy for best "Saftey Scare of the Day" people could have been forgiven for thinking a bush fire had started with all that smoke! and the track fire saftey vehicle had to make a trip out.

It was by far the most memorable track day, perhaps even club event this year thanks to a few members who went above and beyond to entertain us! (even if unintentionally). It will make for some great articles in the next magazine.

Thanks to all the members who supported the day. A special thanks those who travelled some extra distance to be there. The committee appreciates your support of the events.
