Hello Everyone
As the New Year is fast approaching the calendar for 2014 will be
published very shortly.
On that subject, a bit of forward planning is required by those who wish to join us on our cruise to the lovely Central Western town of
Orange for the Gnoo Blas Car Show and Dinner plus a cruise around the district on Sunday morning.
To ensure you have accommodation, my advice is to book a room at a
local motel ASAP to ensure you have somewhere to sleep other than in your car. My advice is to book Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th.
The weekend of the event is on 8th and 9th February 2014.
Saturday is show day, in the evening there is a Gala dinner at the
Orange RSL and on Sunday a short cruise around the district on some beautiful local roads. The Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club provide lunch
for a small fee and it's off home.

I’m in for this one,
I used www.booking.com (search for Orange NSW) to book my accommodation. I checked it today and there are still some rooms left (at various motels) on this site, but I would take Geoff’s advice and book sooner rather than later.
Thank PJ for the link, I will complete the entry form and mail it off in the next couple of days.

Think I may be able to get on this trip.(work wise)
Do we have a cruise up planed for Friday,what time? start point? do I just fill in the form and enter car in show and book dinner or are we applying for group booking for entry and dinner?
I know I am excited, but its been a while since the "sportscort" has been out.
Looks like I will be making some spiders homeless when I it fire up. |

Hello Everyone
All of those of you, who are going out to Orange and are leaving on Friday. I thought it might be good if we cruised out together.
The plan would be to meet at MacDonalds Penrith [Panthers] at midday
[12.00 noon] and leave at 12.30 pm drive up into the mountains and
find some nice little café or the like for lunch.
Please ring or send me a P.M. and let me know if that's what you want to do.
I have contacted the organisers of the show and booked a table for us at the dinner on Saturday night.
When you register and pay for your entry and if you are going to the dinner please tell them that you are with the Small Ford Car Club.

For those how are going from the 7th on is the Banjo Paterson festival at Orange which means there is a lot going on in and around town.

I sent my entry/payment in well before xmas for this event
Has anyone received an acknowledgement or reciept ?
Are we supposed to get anything before heading up to Orange ?
