Mark is busily organising the next Classic Ford Mega Cruise which will be on Sunday, 10th March 2013.

These cruises are always popular with up to 50 cars usually attending. The usual small Ford clubs will be invited. All the details will be in the next issue of the Newsletter due out in February 2013.

BYO fold up chairs and lunch or there is great coffee and stacks of food on site.

Roads are scenic, twisty and in good condition.

Ample parking for loads of cars, always a good roll up every year, let's make this years the biggest and best ever!!

More details under the COMING EVENTS section on the Classic Ford Forum. Mark Freeman will advise re the Sydney departure details.

Newcastle departing 9.00am Mcdonalds Kurri.

Hope to see you there.

For the 2013 Classic Ford Mega Cruise we are heading to the Grey Gum Café on the Putty Road (www.greygumcafe.com.au), not to be mistaken for the old roadhouse.
The Grey Gum Café is a great park location with a delicious simple menu, perfect for lunch on a Sunday drive.
The Sydney contingent will meet at Dural McDonalds 9:30am for a 10:00am departure. We will drive up Old Northern Road and take a left onto Cattai Ridge Road enjoying the twisty country tarmac to Windsor, then over the Hawkesbury River and up the Putty Road to Grey Gum Café. This will be a truly relaxing morning to meet up with our Newcastle enthusiasts. Look forward to seeing you there.

Date: 10th March 2013
Sydney Start Location: Dural McDonalds departing 10:00am
Lunch: Grey Gum Café at Noon.
Road map will be available on the day.

The last event had nearly 60 cars in total from Sydney and Newcastle. It was a great turn out with a wonderful bunch of enthusiasts and plenty of variety in cars spanning 50 years of Ford motor cars.
Email me for any queries or a copy of the road map...

CheeRS,

Mark.

Today I did a reconnaissance and trial run for the cruise. The roads are vastly improved from a few years ago when I was last on this black top. It will not disappoint. Not to talk it up too much but the journey was fantastic and lunch at Grey Gums Café is fantastic, simple and relaxing. Perfect for us to stop for lunch and meet the Newcastle folk, plenty of space. Granted I did the run at 10:00am on a Saturday but it was a blast…Do not miss this one! If the weather is good, it will be magic. So who is coming along?

Don't forget the cruise is this Sunday, the weather has been fine over the last couple of days and my spies tell me that the area is okay, no signs of last weeks flooding.

So it should be a great run out there, see you all on the day.

So I went to garage to start the car and the ECU and high pressure fuel pump went haywire from lack of voltage, finally after over 10 years my battery had given up and had dropped two cells.
Okay I need replace it, but I use a sealed Odyssey and need the correct size so where would we get one...Scoured Sydney, and voila....See you tomorrow!
