At what point, if at all, will the event be opened to non-members? I have a number of mates who are keen to attend (although the cars won't be Fords).

Hi Brett,

We probably wont go beyond the invited small Ford clubs. The main line of thought behind that is our insurance and the other clubs insurances cover the public liability side of things. In saying that, they are welcome to join as associate members(same joining cost as a full member)and come along as members on the day. I have a friend joining up when the renewals come up in August, although his car is half Ford(Cossie powered Dax Rush). Associate members dont even need to own a car to join Hopefully they will enjoy the day and company then if they want to come on other runs and events, they are more than welcome.

Regards,

Phil.

I want to be there but will reserve my confirmation until I am sure the new engine is in and missing no beats. Hopefully i'll know and have some cash by the next monthly meeting.

It's not the speed that hurts, its the sudden stop. So it goes that if you can't speed, the sudden stop won't be so, err, sudden. And you walk away

Phil,
I am trying to make arrangements to be there on the day as an administrative hand if needed. I won't be having a run - not even in the XR6T Let me know what I can help out with.

I think you can use unreg cars but they will have to pass scruitineering to make sure there safe. A speedway car on a circuit that will be interesting to see
