hopefully we get some good weather for tommorrow,my car is as clean as it can be,looking forward to the day. My brother got the mk1 cortina 2ltr finished today, but he's decided not to bring it untill we are happy with every thing(suspension steering) so it stays at home, but gee it sounds good, and has a beauuuuutiful lumpy cam pinto idle.( I built and donated all the parts !!!! so I get to drive it when ever I want) I want it for my car now |

How good was today Its a shame there were a few showers but didn't stop us from seeing a record number of members displaying their cars. I had a great time, thanks to all who attended and made it a great day out |

It was good to see an all ford car display for once. I haven't seen maybe car shows/displays but this was the best I've seen. I joined the club while i was there and didn't expect to display my Cortina but it was good to do that. Had a few people take photos which I also didn't expect. I'll definitely go to more events in future. |

What a great day!!! To have my Cortina voted 'Best Overall Small Ford in Show' was an immense thrill. I must admit that I was a little lost for words when Hilton asked me to respond as I stepped forward to accept the trophy from Roy and himself, so I apologise for that. To you the members please accept my sincere thanks I feel very humble as there were so many beautiful cars and I know the competition was of a very high standard. I must thank Jim Campbell for his amazing ability and patience in the repair and preparation of the body, to Keith Linegan, a painter of extraordinary talent and Darren of D & D Motor Trimming for his care and attention to detail in all the interior work and of course the very tricky and difficult job of recovering the sunroof. I'm very happy |
