For those of you interested in going down, it is well worth it. Driving down with the other club members means you can get help if you need it and the time before and after the show is great. Just to sit around and talk and have dinner/breakfast with the guys makes a good weekend away. |

You asked for this Stephen. Why do you need a spa suite, plan on entertaining some friends? |

Ok, so I'm leading I may as well put up a bit of itinerary for folks who don't know what's it all about.
Last year we left Sydney at about 7am and cruised down the Hume. Met Hak at Yass-ish.
Stopped at Albury for grease input (commonly called fast food). Landed in Melbourne about 5pm, so a nice leisurely run down.
Pub across the road form motel, few beers and food there.
Up early Sunday, breakfast at motel, off to show (opens at 9am) spend all day sweating, then back to motel by 6pm. Tapers off by about 3pm and I'm not sure if there is a no-leave time. I think I was near last to leave last year :( More beers and food at pub, breakfast at motel next morning, leave by 8am-ish. Back to Sydney, everyone kinda peels off and goes their own way.
So it's basically 1 day off work. I think the motel cost around $140/night. This year we might look at booking as a convention group and seeing if we can get better rates.
The RSOCVIC put a nice area aside for our club so foks could see who we were and it was a good day (except for the heat and dust - don't think that is going to change) |

If you guys can tell me if your going, I'll contact the RSOC Vic and make sure you get a reserved spot. |
