One of my famous runs that brings family and friends togeather to hit and abuse each other. This run is centred around the Sydney South the starting point is the McDonalds at Menai (cnr of Allison Cres & McMahon Pl near Menai Shopping Centre) at 9am departing at 9.30 there will be a lunch break and a place for refrehments at the end. Speed is not involved in this there will be a few of my interesting questions and tasks along the run to keep me amused sorry to keep you amused. It makes it easyer if you bring a passenger with you and as I said, bring your family and friends.

Just a reminder about the run, only 2 weekends away. I'll be going over the run this weekend to make sure the buildings have not been knocked down yet and our lunch point has not been turned into the new Sutherland Lake.

What a great day, good weather and good Small Ford Club members. A big thankyou to all that came out, 14 cars with 15 members and not one complaint yet. Now that I am home and safe I can say a few things about today's run; the winners were our VP Phil partnered with friend Sean. Sean was a ring in as he is a sign post rally master and self proclaimed expert and with the help of a lap top, googled every question and only really stuffed up when it came down to a question that couldn't be googled. A convertable focus is a whole car not a half.(Phil came up to me at the end to see who was the winner before I announced it. I noticed money in his hand. Could this have been a bribe or was he on the way to the cafe ) Closely following in second was a tie with Kyle and Barry but as you know you only get a bag of cakes if you win. It would have been nice if Phil and Sean could have given them at least one each, however I was told that they were hurriedly stuffing their faces on the way back to their Cortina. Everyone else was very close behind, which means next time I'm going to have to get serious with the questions. It was disappointing to see Kirbee do a dummy spit and blame her parents for the wrong answers and to say "I told you it wasn't a Cortina it was a Taunus in the window" If I were your parents I would have sent you to your back seat. Special thanks to Theo and Alex, who covered the day with a handy cam to catch all the misbehaving. I look forward to seeing the footage. Once again thanks to everybody who came along.

I think there all on to you Phil. Here are a few photos I took while on the hop, I'm sure Theo and Alex have done alot better.

I have some other photos for Jeremy to put in the mag. For those of you who couldn't make it we started at Menai Maccas as stated. Then went out via Heathcote Rd to Engadine then Loftus to the Tramway Museum then Sutherland shops, on to the local Ford Dealership. Lunch was under Tom Uglys Bridge some members brought a picnic lunh some had the famous Pauls Hamburgers. After lunch it was a drive to Kurnell then through Cronulla on to Gunnamatta Bay for afternoon tea. We had some new faces come along to this run which was great to see, this also meant some different cars to see. As the spot we had for lunch was great I think I will have to factor in the choice to have a picnic lunch in the future. One point I would like to mention I was approached at McDonalds by a lady who asked if we would be there long, as she would ring her father to come out and have a look at the cars (he was at Ingleburn) as he had a interest in them. I told her where we were going and the man came out to meet us. He took m/ship details to join and plans to come to the next meeting, he has 2 Mk1 Cortinas 1 orginal and 1 modified he thought our cars were great and can't wait to go on a run with us.
If you have any comments or stories about the run good or bad put them up. As there were no bad ones there should be only good.
