This was a terrific run, dare I say the best outing of the year.

We got some great video, cars missing turns, cars doubling back, passengers searching for clues, all great fun. Thanks Roy for an awesome event.

MMMMMMMM! CCCHHOCOLAATTE!

Thankyou Roy and Family for a great day.
The weather was brilliant and the drive kept everyone involved, the kids loved it.
We relived it over dinner and had a good laugh.
Had a massive rear tyre blowout on the M4 on the way home, an action packed day.
Cheers.

Good to see you guy's had a good day.It makes me feel good to see the club having these socials succeed as I know how hard Roy works to get them organised. It makes me jealous that I had to work that day and miss out catching up with my old car club friends and meet some new friends.Unfortunately my roster did not allow for the day off and the bad boy's out here in the bush do not stop for the weekend. So kudo's to Roy for holding a successful day and Hello to all my friends in the club from Parkes ( Home of the 'Dish'.)
p.s. still have not bought the Escort out yet but I am going to rectify that shortly.

take care,
Laurie.

I'm the one that normally takes all the photos, this is the only one I got at the start (I was too busy watching everybody pointing and scratching their heads). I know Theo was taking a video and other people took some photos, so they will be put up shortly. Thanks everyone for your kind words it makes these events worth while when everyone has fun. I have to thank my wife for helping me and my daughter who enjoyed all the attention.

What can i say but what an awesome day out, apart from a few minor gremlins creeping under the car, that was the first time this year its had a good drive which it needed. Kerry and the kids haven't stopped talking about it all night. Congratulations to kirbee and family for taking out the overall bag of goodies and it was good to see a few new cars out n about. It was also good to get off the beaten track for some different scenery. Damn fine job to the Rogers clan for a well organised day out and im sure we'll be at the next one.

Just one thing I would like to mention in Mountain High Pies there were 5 small Aussie flags, 5 medium Aussie flags, 1 large Aussie flag and 1 New Zealand flag (on the register). The Aussie flags were on the windows of the main room, a sign above the sweet pies counter, the air/con switch in main room, light switch in second room and above the entrance into the second room. You were all within 1 or 2, how many of you counted the NZ flag in your total. Someone in a MK2 Escort that shall remain nameless counted 12 flags.
