As you may have already seen, Motorsport Australia has launched its brand new Member Portal and Event Entry systems in the past week. Along with our recent change of trading name to Motorsport Australia, it has also given our permits team to revisit a lot of our forms and documentation.
We have worked behind the scenes to review and update the permit pages on our website to help deliver a more user-friendly experience for all clubs.
Below is an overview of what’s available and how you can get started.
Firstly, head to motorsport.org.au/events and click on your relevant discipline (Non-Speed, Speed, Race, Rally and Off Road).
From there, you will find a list of event types as well as the minimum requirements to begin your application.
You will then find a list of Pre-Event forms, a list of Post-Event forms and at the bottom of each page you will find a list of all other forms that you may need to utilise. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Event Application form which states the general event details including organisers, event type and status.
Supplementary Regulations which state the rules and regulations by which your event will be run, by either filling out a pro forma in the case of Non Speed and Speed, or submitting your own.
Event Entry Form which will be supplied to your entrants including the Motorsport Australia Disclaimer. As part of our service commitment to you, you may also be aware that we will soon roll out a new member portal and event entry system. We encourage all clubs to take advantage of the new and improved online tools.
Click here for more information on our system upgrades. ONLINE APPLICATIONS OPTIONS The online Speed or Non-Speed permit options include Event Application, Supplementary Regulations and Entry Form upload, which is inclusive of all minimum requirements.
This option does not require you to send in additional Supplementary Regulations.
If you already have your own Supplementary Regulations, please use the PDF application process.
ONLINE FORMS OPTIONS Online Clerk of the Course and Steward report forms are available for all event types, as well as a request form for any alcoholmeter, radar gun and noise meter equipment.
SOCIAL PERMITS While we are happy for you to send in your PDF Social Permit application, applying for your Social Permit online is a quick and easy process that allows for numerous events in one application as well as requesting a Certificate of Currency if required. With this process you will receive an email confirming your Social Permit application has been completed and confirmed within 24 hours.
EVENT PRICING Non-Speed, Speed Event Pricing can be found on Event Permit Application Forms.
Rallying, Touring Road and Off Road Event pricing can be found on the Post Event Forms.
*Note: Rally and Off Road Events require a 10 car deposit and the remainder of the fee’s to be paid post event based on the total vehicle numbers.
*Note: all invoices must be paid in order to release the Event Permit.
Alternatively, click here for Appendix R - 2020 for a list of all available pricing.
We look forward to working with you all this year, and ensuring your Permit experience is as seamless as possible.
