This is a bitumen surface motorkhana being run by Thornleigh Car Club at the NirimbaTaf e complex at Quakers Hill and is a round of the State Championship. However it also contains a multi club component and that is what Small Ford members will be competing in. In case you do not know a motorkhana is a series of manoeuvring tests around witches hats and flags. They are great fun in a low speed, controlled environment. You will need to have a CAMS Level 2 non speed licence or higher to compete so if you do not have one organise it now through the CAMS website as you cannot purchase a licence on the day. Regulations for the event will be available at the May meeting and entry is on the day. (Contact www.cams.com.au ) One thing I forgot to mention at the meeting about the motorkhana was that as long as you are running in the multi club component of the event you can take a passenger once the appropriate disclaimers are signed of course.
