Gnoo Blas Classic Car Show
Saturday 17th – Sunday 18th February 2018
Sir Jack Brabham Park
Forest Rd, Orange, NSW
The annual Gnoo Blas Classic Car Show will be held on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 February 2018.
The car show in Sir Jack Brabham Park in the centre of the old track is an ideal event for car club members to show off their vehicles to the public and enjoy a great weekend away. There will be 10 award categories, including car of the show, and special awards for the best Club display.
Food and soft drinks are available on site. There will also be a courtesy bus running on the hour to take people into Orange to shop or look at the sights.
On Sunday morning we’re going on a short scenic drive to Hillside Harvest orchard at Borenore for morning tea. From there to Nashdale and back to Orange for your prepacked picnic lunch at Cook Park.
We have a great line-up of special guests for the 2018 Gnoo Blas Classic in Jack Brabham Park on Saturday February 17, and the enthusiasts’ dinner led by international driver Simona de Silvestro.
· Car show entry fee $10 and includes one passenger
· Dinner $45 per head (dinner bookings close February 10)
· Pre-packed Sunday lunch $10 each

For those who are planning to the drive out to Orange as in previous years we will meet at Penrith Panthers McDonalds on Friday morning at 9.30, departing at 10 am and convoy out, having lunch in Bathurst on the way.
This time the guest list includes along with Simona, the great Ford man Fred Gibson and his wife Christine [nee Cole] who was no slouch behind the wheel of a race or rally car.
There will be lots of stories, I'm sure about his early days and the titanic struggles with Neil Allen in their Lotus Elans and his Bathurst victory and then his days with Nissan Motorsport.
Should be good.

Hi Geoff,
I am looking at joining in on the trip to Orange.
As I do not have a small Ford on the road at the moment I would come in my larger 2 door version.
Question: I have this vehicle on historic log book rego with the Shoalhaven Historic Vehicle Club (SHVC), is it okay to nominate the SFCC for my car placing, seating etc as I think I may be the only one from the SHVC attending?

You would are most welcome to join us for the cruise out to Orange
leaving Friday as the car show is on Saturday.
Please see my previous post regarding meeting and departure times.
We would also be delighted to have your company at the dinner on Saturday night.

You will have to arrange your own accommodation as that is what we have done in the past.
