I also noticed on the Wollongong Sporting Car Club FB page there is an invite to the day, but they said its on May 25, not June 26.

I can't leave a message on there, but maybe someone can mention it to them that the date is wrong?

I've contacted the club through a mate of mine who is a member and asked for a correction to be done.

The cut off is fast approaching with tomorrow being the 26th May, so act quickly so that this event can happen.
Thank you to the Members that have signed and paid. We still are short on the numbers required.
With 60 Members marking on their membership forms their interest in motor sport events we should not have a problem reaching our goal of 29 starters.
Don't let your mates down because you did not get around to replying on time.

We are nearly at our required number of starters to make this event viable although there are still a few spots left.
As it's only track day of the year, don't miss out.
Entry is easy, bank direct deposit of $150.00 to the club's Account # 10024153
BSB 062 233
Please remember to tell your friends you don't have to be a member to participate.
Come along and enjoy the feeling of real racetrack conditions where you can stretch the legs of your pride and joy or bring your daily driver.

After due consideration and some discussion with other committee members we have decided to allow intending participants to enter our track day right up until the day.
Therefore if you make a last minute decision to come along and 'run' you can pay there and then.
Thank you to all those who have already entered, it will be a good day.

Is there a group travelling down to Marulan or everyone going down on their own?

A great day at Marulan is the best way I can describe it.
We had 27 starters on Sunday.
After a chilly start, but no wind the day became quite pleasant and by 9.00 am the sun was out and everyone had done their track walk and were raring to go.
There was quite a variety of cars and once again the comparisons of power and handling started to make interesting competition.
I would like to thank everyone who came along and made the day a success.
To make it even better, was the fact that the club's investment in the day worked out well with a financial return that saw us balancing the books and coming out with a 'profit' of $50.00.
