NOTE: This is a date change in our calendar

Hunter British Ford Group

Run to Gosford Classic Car Museum
Sunday 10th July 2016
Hi everyone,

As you are aware, one of my runs to assist our new Events Coordinator, Tim Solly is to the brand new Gosford Classic Car Museum. The date has been rescheduled to Sunday 10th July, as their opening date went past our original run date. I can tell you that we are now booked and confirmed and locked in for this date! The Gosford Classic Car Museum is now the largest museum of its type in the southern hemisphere, and will be booked out for months ahead.

We have reserved parking secured for us, and the good news is, as we have made a car club booking, we will all enjoy the discounted rate for just $15.00. We have also invited the Ford RS Owners Club, Small Ford Car Club, Cortina Anglia Prefect Club and the Capri Club to join us. There are some very special Fords including English/European varieties housed in the museum.

More details will be released, but in the meantime, in order for the museum to reserve enough parking for us in the premises, so we can all park together, creating our own impressive ‘display’, you need to reply to me by Sunday 29th May if you are coming with how many people and number of cars. This is a request from the Museum management. Those who just turn up on the day without prior notification, may be forced to park several blocks away due to the large number of cars expected on any given day the museum is open. Other car clubs will also be visiting on the same day and will be expecting reserved parking as well.

If you would like more info, go to their website on http://gosfordclassiccarmuseum.com.au/ or check them out on facebook. If there is one run that you shouldn’t miss out on this year, then THIS IS IT!! They are located in the old Bunnings store at 3/13 Stockyard Place, West Gosford.

It will be a 10.00am entry time, as mentioned more details re the run route will be released soon. Don’t forget to advise me by Sunday 29th May re how many people and cars you have coming. There is a limit to how many people the museum will enter at one time – don’t miss out!!

NOTE again: This is a date change in our calendar
As the day gets closer we will organise a meeting place and leave to the planned destination.

John - Is the Club going to notify HBFG of the numbers attending, or should we do it individually? I believe that they have want to know numbers of attendees by 29th April.
