good to hear Jim!!
Here are the details so far:-
Like past cruises you don't have to do the whole cruise, you might only want to join us for a cruise along the Bells Line Road, or just to Mudgee for lunch.
The plan is: DAY 1, We will leave Richmond on Saturday & head towards Lithgow via some great twisties on the Bells Line Road.
After a coffee break at Dargan just before Lithgow we will head to scenic Mudgee for lunch.
After lunch we will head to our last stop for the day which is the historic gold rush town of Hill End, where will have an overnight stay at the Hill End Motel. Rooms are currently available. As it's a popular historic town, my advice is to book now for Sat. night. Your contact is Bernie Tel. No.63378200 at the Hill End Motel.
Day 2 will see us head via the old Cobb & Co route to Bathurst where we will do a mandatory couple of laps around the mountain before we head home.
All roads are sealed & in good condition which are perfect for your classic car to stretch its legs, but feel free to bring any car and everyone is welcome so bring your friends & family.
More details will be posted as we get closer to the date so stay tuned |

| What time are you planning to arrive in Mudgee for lunch? We should be free to join you for Saturday. |

START - Hill End Depart 9am Hill End Lodge, 3538 Hill End Rd, Hill End
MORNING TEA & FUEL - Bathurst (1h 30min - 81km) Arrive 10.30am - Depart 11am Banjos Café, 34 Stocklands Centre, William Street Bathurst
From Bathurst we may head up to the mountain for a few laps & photos if people choose. Some people may choose to continue back to Sydney instead. In the same way that some people may choose to go the Bells Line Road or the Great Western Highway for the trip home. The plan for the rest of the trip home from Bathurst to Sydney will be left open to do as you wish. |

I have been looking into a couple of options when we get to Hill End.
We could get a guided tour of the village by Adults $26 per person. Concession $19 per person. Family $60 for 2 adults and 2 children. Children under 8 years free.
or the other one is a ghost tour.
For this one we will need a minimum of 10 people & there is a maximum of 20 people Price is: Adult $40 per person. Concession $20 per person. Children under 8 years free. Family $65 for 2 adults and 2 children.

If you are not familiar with Hill End it is well preserved town from the Gold rush era. Between 1854 & 1873 700,000oz of gold were won from this goldfield. So significant was the finds in this are that the blastings of 1871 became the catalyst for the opening of the Sydney Stock Exchange & in 1872 the greatest mass of gold ever extracted was taken from the ‘Star of Hope’ mine at Hill End.
More info about the history of Hill End can be found here

Once again I need an idea of anyone that might be interested in these so I can make a booking. Payment can be made when we get to Hill End at the visitors centre
