If you have ever wanted to compete at Mt Panorama, this is one of the cheapest & easiest ways to.
The Esses Hillclimb is run in reverse up the mountain from Forrest Elbow to the Castrol Tower on Skyline.

If you don't want to compete but you want to come up to spectate entry is free & it its also a good excuse to get the car out for a drive.
THE EVENT will be held on Sunday 16/08/2015 on the Esses, Mt Panorama by the Bathurst Light Car Club
SCRUTINY will be held at 7:00am on 16/08/ 2015 at McPhillamy Park, Mt Panorama DRIVERS’ BRIEFING will be held: at 8:45 am The EVENT commences at 9:30am and will be finished by 5:00pm.
THE EVENT will include as a minimum 4 runs.
ENTRY FEE will be $ 130.00 (GST incl) and can be paid by cheque, money order or direct deposit. Cheques/money orders should be made payable to: Bathurst Light Car Club Ltd.
MINIMUM LICENCES: Current CAMS Level 2S/J, or superior and club membership are compulsory and must be presented at document check-in. If issued, a CAMS vehicle logbook shall also be required to be shown.
ENTRIES CLOSE - 6:00pm on Wednesday 12/08/2015.

If you want to do this event make sure you get your entry in asap. There has not been a lot of entries for this event so far and if they dont get enough entries soon the event may be cancelled.
They also need volunteers like flag marshals so if you would like to get in on the action but dont have a car, let me know. |

cheers mate, I'm looking forward to it.
I will be up there with the boys & girls from TAFE Motorsport, they are running a Formula 3 & an ex Alan Grice V8 ute, which should be pretty interesting to see.
There will also be a bit of media there including the local paper, along with ABC & Prime 7 TV so you might see it on the news if you cant make it. |

For anyone thinking about coming up for a look
Access to the event at McPhillamy Park will be via Barry Gurdon Drive (off Boundary & Hinton Rd. This is the accesss road used to get to the top of the mountain when the races are on
It commences at 9:30am and will be finished by 5:00pm (usually earlier, so don't turn up too late).
