Hi All
Please be aware that as time flies the cruise we have planned for late March, Saturday 28th/Sunday 29th is fast approaching.
My advice is that if you plan to join us please book your accommodation now in beautiful Braidwood, where we will be overnighting. I have been to the town
and made tentative arrangements with 3 motels telling them of our
arrival times and our possible numbers.
3 motels I've looked at because they're not that big and if we do get a good roll up, there may be a need to use more than one.
They're all within walking distance of each other. In order of preference.
For your info. contact details:
1. Braidwood Cedar Lodge Motel
Tel.: 4842 2244
Email: cedarlodge@braidwoodnsw.com
2. Braidwood Colonial Motel
Tel.: 4842 2027
Email: colonialmotel@braidwoodnsw.com
3. Braidwood Torpy's Eco Motel & Accommodation
Tel.: 4842 1830
Email: torpysecomotel@gmail.com

Send me a PM or call text if you need further info.
Cheers

Just been informed that Braidwood Rodeo is on this weekend of our planned stay in the town.
Accommodation may be at a premium, so get in now at any of the suggested motels.
Cheers

Geoff

Hi All,

Just booked the last available room at the Braidwood Cedar Lodge Motel. There are 2 other motels available as per Geoff's post.

Hi Geoff,

Will try to join in for the Sunday. The Laggan pub Car Show is on the Saturday and I have committed to it. As I live near Goulburn if all goes well I can have a 2 day jaunt.

I was wondering what time are we mustering for this event? As Saturday 28th is Election Day for State Government, will we have time to vote prior to the muster at Revesby / Padstow, or will we need to arrange other voting arrangements?

As you all probably know Sat. 28th is polling day for the state election.
For those who haven't been able to vote we can stop at a polling station on the way that is convenient.

On checking, I feel that lodging a pre-poll vote is probably the best way to go. Pre-poll centres are open from Monday 16th March.

Just returned from our final route check and made some changes to some of the roads that we were originally going to follow.
Reasons that some had roadworks and surfaces on some weren't that good.
Also checked out some places of interest, incl. a couple of wineries.
Checked the remaining accommodation in Braidwood and for anyone who might be a late starter please hurry as you may struggle if you leave it till the last minute.
See motel list on this thread for options.
Let's just keep our fingers crossed for good weather, Braidwood this weekend had 2 superb days
So now all is set, let's have a really good cruise.

During our final route check we found that the Public School in Gunning would be good for those that want to vote on Saturday.
Quiet little town and it is our lunch stop.

If anyone would still like to join us for this cruise, even if you only want to do part of it.
Just contact me and I'll forward a map and route instructions, so you can decide where to 'jump on-jump off'
Cheers
