After a big build up and a lot of help from a very willing group of members and wives, partners and girlfriends. Our Concours and Display Day was everything I hoped it would be. Thank you all so much I can't do this alone and I feel very privileged to be amongst such a wonderful group of people. To see all those beautiful cars that are not only the pride and joy of their owners but they make all of us proud to say that we are lucky enough to have them in our club. P.S. During the packing up at the end of the day there were a small number of the commemorative plaques left over and were on the trophy table. I wonder if anyone picked them up and put them with all the club equipment headed for the club trailer. please let me now. Cheers

It was a great day on Sunday and I would like to congratulate every one that attended, helped, participated and won on the day. I am a recent member to the club and at every event that I have attended everyone has always been friendly and approachable, I can honestly say that I am proud to be a member of the club. |

Another great club event with some stunning cars on display. Thanks to all the members who attended. Welcome to those new members who displayed their cars for the first time, I hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed checking out your cars. Congratulations to all the trophy winners and a very big thank you to all the helpers on the day.
There are some photos already up on the club website, http://www.smallfordcarclub.com.au/concourse_day.htm I'm sure there will be more to follow on the forum soon.

All the remaining commemorative plaques have been found. Thanks Steve. To all those members who left early due to their busy Sunday schedule, please let me know and I'll include yours when we do the magazine mail out or you can pick them up at the next meeting or at the Christmas Party. |

Steve, Yes we are an okay group overall; maybe even a superlative bunch of Ford enthusiasts. Glad you enjoyed the day….As a long time member, I hope you continue to prosper at club events…Some of us actually have blue blood…That is my story and I am sticking to it…
Geoff and the committee, good times! Well done!... I could only visit briefly….

It was good to see you Mark in your new club shirt. Another fella I was so pleased to see was the elusive Phil Eyke Thanks for coming along Phil. It's nice to see the candle is still burning. Cheers |

Well done to Dave Fitzsimons for taking out "car of the show" at the Pennant Hills "Show Us Your Motor" car show just a week after our display... |
