The motorkhana scheduled for the 19th October has been moved to a new date. Please note that it will be now held on Sunday 6th July 2014.
The venue will be on the ''trailer park'' at Western Sydney Dragway
Eastern Creek.
We have had numerous difficulties with the arrangements for this event leading to the change of date, so we apologise for any inconvenience, all is now coming together for what should be a really great day of competition and friendly rivalry.
There will be prizes for achievement including boys v girls [now is your chance to find out who's the best] so it should be fun.
Entry details will be announced soon.

I knocked up a poster with the latest details.

I'm so keen for this one, I have also found a video for those of you that don't know much more about motorkhanas than watching a few Ken block videos on you tube, this video will let you know a bit more about what to expect.

The surface is sealed.
Tar area, used as the scrutineering area for the drag racing cars.

This looks like a fun day. As it is a Sunday I will see if I can make it.

As it will be on tarmac is there any prep I should do to my 2013 Focus if I was to enter, IE wheels, brakes, tyres, etc., the car is my daily driver too?

Do I need a special license, IE a CAMS License, to enter?

Thanks

Hi Geoff
On the day you will be able to get a licence for $20.00 which entitles you to compete plus $50.00 entry fee.
No special requirements for your car although all loose items inside have to be removed.
On the day there will be plenty of experienced people to guide you
and all other competitors in the details.

As long as the car is roadworthy you wont have a problem. The only things I would suggest to check is your tyre pressures & make sure you have enough fuel.

Hi All
For this event we will be bringing the club trailer with all our
bar-b-cue equipment and we'll be putting on a sausage sizzle
as there are no food providers close by.
For our usual moderate club prices we'll have sausage sandwiches,
plus hot and cold drinks.
What we do need are some volunteers to assist with this during the day please.
I would appreciate a response from those of you who intend coming along to please let us know, so as to assist us in providing enough food and drinks.
Thanks and hoping to see you there.
