Thank you to everyone who came along today. It was a terrific way to end the year. Thanks to Geoff and Glenyce for putting on a great BBQ lunch. Well done Phil, you were brilliant. Merry Christmas to all.

What a wonderful event to bring our year to a close [not forgetting Harry's L'Pool on Monday night], the children's faces and the contented relaxed look of everyone was reward for all of us that have worked so hard to make your Small Ford Car Club experience a memorable one. Thank you so much for coming along and I hope you enjoyed as much as me. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your families.

Thanks to all the ladies (and gentlemen) who helped out by provided us with yummy desserts, what a lovely array of goodies. It was great to see so many of you there. Looking forward to seeing more of the families at future events. The more the merrier. Merry Christmas and have a safe and great New Year - Glenice.

Great photos Theo. It was a fantastic day, & great turnout of people. I think Santa was a hit with the kids & it was interesting to hear some of the old racing stories from Leo & Bob Skelton.
One of my favourite stories from Bob was when he was racing a GTHO at Bathurst with John Goss. They had to change an engine the night before the race. That night they had to take the race car out in the middle of the night for a run on the back roads between Bathurst & Orange to run the new engine in. Just near Blaney they got pulled over by a cop in a cooper S who thought they had stolen the car. John Goss told the cop that Bob had raced minis a few years before at Bathurst & convinced him that they hadn't stolen the car & to smooth things over let the cop have a drive of the race car. So Bob hopped in the mini & followed the cop driving the GTHO, not long after the oil pressure light came on in the cooper S so he flashed the lights to swap cars back & then left the cop with a pretty sick mini
