Shannons Sydney Classic Sunday, 18th August 2013 Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek Display entry between 7.30am-9.00am Presented by the Council of Motor Clubs the annual Shannons Sydney Classic attracts 1900 classic & veteran vehicles to the Raceway at Eastern Creek.
We have purchased a number of tickets to this show through our affiliation with the CMC so again, there is no cost to you if you would like to attend this event. And what a great event it is. Last year we had a prime location with huge crowds keenly looking over our cars all day long.
Part of the day is a parade lap of the actual circuit which is always worth waiting for. There are also trade stands and entertainment for the kids too. You can even get to do a lap of the circuit in an old Sydney double decker bus.
Tickets will be limited so please contact the club quickly to book your spot.
The weather was perfect for the Shannons show today. Plenty of classics on display from all eras and in all makes and models. Highlight is obviously the lap around the track and because we started from the grandstand side we got to do 2 complete laps of the full circuit.
I think we all managed to give it a bit of squirt around the new section at Corporate Hill.
......As Turbo Roo is still not back on the road, had to use the ring in today!!
