The first Sunday in May is the date for the annual Wings Over Illawarra airshow. Entry to display your car is only $5.00 which gives you a front row spot on the airport This is great event with plenty to see and do. There is the classic car display of which we will be apart, there is also a classic bike display along with plenty of vintage race cars and vintage machinery. The airport Hangars are open for the day where you can check out all the planes. The Australian Armed forces put on a great display of military equipment and there is of course plenty of interesting aircraft flying overhead.
There is a meeting spot where all the car clubs gather to cruise to the show. More details will be available closer to the date.
It's on at the HARS Museum, Illawarra Regional Airport, Albion Park. If you are interested in attending please let me know so I can reserve a ticket for you.
Last years event was great and everyone who attended really did enjoy themselves.

For everyone who is planning on coming the organisers have provided me the entry details as follows;
There is no meeting point this year, instead you will have to go directly to the airport. You will need the following sheet to gain entry and park up in our allocated row. Put it on your windscreen as you enter.
The helpers will then come around and collect the entry fee which is $5.00 per person (note $5.00 for each person in your car not $5.00 for the car)
There is a map with all the details on how to get there below. Gates are only open between 7.30am and 9.30am. after that you won't be able to get in for the car display.
If you need any more info please let me know.

Haven't been to this one for a couple of years and would like to go this year. However, it would be in the Fiesta not the Escort. If that's OK can you please put me down for a ticket?
