It's time to start planning our trip down to Victoria for Small Ford Sunday which will be on Sunday 5th February 2012.

We normally book rooms at Best Western Mahoney's Motor Inn @ Reservoir.

We had a great time at the last event. The plan is to again head down early on Saturday Morning, enjoy the show and head back on the Monday.

I'm taking the Escort no matter what this year, yes on a trailer if I have too.

Please add your name here if you would like to attend. I know Smcka worked hard on getting us all a discount but last time I found if you booked via credit card you get cheaper rate again.

Put your annual leave in and get set for another fun trip away.

Heres an interesting bit of trivia.

I just found out that just down the road (literally less than 5 minutes down Mahoneys Rd) from the motel is the infamous Lot 6.

It was Fords Skunkworks, where Ford built all of their famous works race cars like the Phase 3 & 4 GTHO's in top secret.

Here's a picture of a car that called it home that may appeal more to the small ford fans though.

the $117.50 is the average price for a queen room over the two days using the internet saver rate.

The true rates are $125.00 for day 1 & $110 for day 2. the average is then $117.50 & the total is $235 for the Saturday & Sunday nights.

I'm just rounding up the troops as well our end..

We plan to travel down on the Friday luch time and stay at Gundagui again over night then meet up with the SFCC people again like last year around 8-9am ish then head to Melbourne.

I have booked my room today at Mahoneys and have told them to expect a few more calls from both the SFCC and the Rs owners clubs so pls mention either one of the club names and they will try and book the rooms close together for us.

Prices I was told today are Twin room $130 night Doulbe $120 single $120.....but last year the boss did look after us..

15 cars went down last year would love to beat that.
