A reminder that the RS Owners and Capri Car Club have invited us to their annual display day at Parramatta Park, which is on Sunday 20th November.

I'll be there with the Escort from around 8.30am so if there are any other members who want to join me please let me know here and I'll make sure to reserve a spot for you.

It's a good day so let's get out there and support our mates.

I'm planning to be there......if it's not raining. My car doesn't do water well, or really it's such a pain cleaning it, but the weather forecast is good............

I couldn't find the time to display my MKI Focus but came out to have a look instead. Good Show and Venue.

I thought it a bit lax that we could only get 4-5 cars out there, given we had plenty of notice and they even put on a trophy for our club.
It was hot but thats what you get in summer.

It was hot!! But still a great turnout of cars. I can see this event becoming huge.

We had other members showing cars but because there are a few of us that are also members RSOC & other clubs, so their cars were on display with them. Which is fair enough considering that was their day.

Also welcome to our new members & congrats to Peter for taking home the trophy for best car from our club.

Here are a couple of pics from the day.

Well here are all mine in a Flickr Album of the day.

Thanks for accepting me into the club, it was a great day considering the heat, and good to meet some new faces...I look forward to getting into more events with you all.

Well done on the award Pete.

Cheers!

I cant remember them all because there was heaps of awards.

Correct me if im wrong but off the top of my head I remember some SFCC members that are also in the RSOC that won awards.

Mark Roberts won an award for his mk2 RS2000 Escort.
Owen Shield, Best RS Capri in his orange RS Capri
Michael Hemmerling also won an award for his RS500 Sierra.
Robert Dunn, Best non RS in his LR Focus ST170
Also as previously mentioned Peter Meyer won the SFCC club Trophy in his mk2 Lotus Cortina

Like Smcka said, hopefully we see more of you guys at this show next year.
