Great day once again & you couldnt have asked for better weather for a Sunday drive.

I was supposed to be doing work on the cortina, but it was mums birthday. We had to do something for it & this was what she wanted to do, so who was I to argue.

There was a great turnout of cars with 15 small fords young & old plus a few other types tagging along.

Anyway heres a few pics of the day.

Thank you to everyone who attended, the weather was just perfect for a Sunday drive. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, I spied a few wrong turns or people doubling back to check answers. No mishaps to report on this run, everyone got to the final destination safely despite the best efforts of a hoon Commodore driver, where was Laurie when we needed him.

For those that missed the run we started off from the Narellan McDonalds, headed off through Cobbitty then out through Werombi along Silverdale Rd, past the Warragamba Dam and then along Mulgoa Rd through Wallacia.

We headed up into the Blue Mountains but turned off to come back down the Old Bathurst Rd and through Emu Plains. After a quick detour due to road works we were away again along Castlereagh Rd and onto Richmond, from there we travelled through Windsor before turning off toward Pitt Town. From here it was a short drive along Cattai Rd then onto to the final destination at Wisemans Ferry.

We had joint winners this time with "Steve & Anne" and "Liam & family" getting the prize, which will be presented at the concourse day just to prove that there really is a prize.

Most got the questions right but there was some controversy over which was the "red mailbox" and over the number of tractors. No a tractor with a bucket at the front does not count, that was a bulldozer.

And since when can you phone a friend to google up the home loan lender back at the start, you bunch of cheaters.

Anyway it was all good fun and I hope you enjoyed it. Planning for the next one has already commenced.

I'll post pictures up soon.

It was my first since the A.F.D. with the Club and I really enjoyed the concept and something that was completely unexpected.

Thanks to Bacca for organising a really good day's drive and to Rob for "navigating" for me. I managed not to scare him too much and got him back in one piece!

Well its easy to see Theo that you never played in the dirt with a tractor that picked up dirt and put it in your truck

It was a great day out, well done to all that organised it.I reckon we done over 200kms round trip, although I detoured thru Galston Gorge on the way home couldnt resist it!
An overnight run to Bathurst was suggested as a run in the near future, sounds great,we did a few some years ago and they were a great success.Count me in when it happens.
Thanks again for a great day out,
