A start of 9am on 19th June 2011.
We are running this in conjunction with the Classic Ford Forum...
Generally we arrive at the track and line up on the start grid allowing other "tourists" to get past; complete a few slow laps and then to the museum car park...
Bring our own lunch and enjoy a picnic or go into town to pick up some takeaway; we will meet back at the National Motor Racing Museum picnic grounds...

have you thought about going back via oberon/Tarana & jenolan caves, there are some good roads & barely any traffic

here is a map from a cruise i went on a while back its got a few different roads from the usual bells and/or great western hwy.
I will do a recon soon & double check the route to the caves.

Hey Neale, What other attractions are there around Bathurst? Maybe you could recommend some and then we could make the next trip to Bathurst a weekend away and include the run to the caves as you suggest.
Maybe include stops like Catalina Park and Gnoo Blas.
Anyway looking forward to the run up to Bathurst, see you there.

Sounds good theo, I found there is a car show at gnoo blass on feb 11 & 12 2012, its getting pretty big aswell, Jack Brabham was at the last one.

If we could incorporate this into the cruise it should be good.
As far as other things to do, There are some nice old gold mining towns like Sofala & Hill End or Carcor that we could cruise too & have lunch in the pub there.
If we pencil it in for that weekend I will do a few recon runns & find the best roads in the area. Plus work out the best things to see & do at that time.

Okay - the next event is the Cruise to Bathurst...
We will remind the members at the next meeting...
Speaking with some others club members at Bristish Ford Day yesterday, we already have a number of participants commited...

Anyone interested in meeting at Richmond and catching the convoy as it passes Richmond Railway Station. Meeting place would be in March Street outside the park opposite. Meeting time 8.45 a.m. |

| Yeah washed & vacuumd the Focus today ready for the cruise tomorrow,then someone rang to come have a look at it this arvo & they bought it on the spot & took it home with him.So no car no cruise,I'll catch the next one. |
