Note: I have passed on information given to me by Gary O'Reilly to Phil Eyke (SFCC Vice President) as requested. The latest information was current at 6th March 2011...This will then be distributed and discussed as necessary. The SFCC is promoting the event to our members each month to keep it on the agenda, anything you can add to keep the "word" alive will benefit the show...
Despite the recent turmoil we have heard about this event Phil Mollison from the Cortina Mark One Owners Club has contacted our club to re-assure everyone that it is still going ahead. Attached below is the itinerary and entry forms for the event, if you would like anymore information you can contact Phil Mollison direct on 0418 388 555.
For anyone heading down to the nationals this weekend there will be a convoy heading down. Dad & I will be tagging along if anyone else wants to join in aswell.
The convoy starting point is the service centre on the Hume highway, at the exit ramp to Exeter/Bundanoon.
DEPARTURE TIME 9am SHARP.
(This is appx 4ks south of the exit to the Illawarra highway and appx. 55ks north of Goulburn nsw.).The service centre incorporates a Shell servo and a Maccas outlet so if you need to top up the Corti and the belly, please do this prior to our departure time. of 9am sharp.
Next stop GUNDAGAI NSW (a distance of 280ks appx-should take 3.5 to 4 hours)where we will stop for lunch/fuel . There are several food venues available in Gundagai or at the Dog on the tuckerbox complex(which is a couple of ks before you enter the town). The idea is that you should have appx one hour to eat and have a look around and then re-group at the Hungry Jack/ Shell servo (at Gundagai township) which has a very large parking bay area adjacent to the servo. DEPART 1.30pm SHARP
We will continue on the Hume highway travelling south to Albury.
