Sorry, cannot make it as it is my sons first birthday party. Sounds like a great cruise though.

I think we will probably be cutting it fine if we leave at 8.30am as it will be at least two & a half hour drive to bathurst (151Km),i think if we made it 7.30am meet leave by 8am it would be safer.

Sonds like a plan PJ, it would be good if we stopped at Catalina Raceway on the way back, for anyone who doesnt know about it its an abandoned raceway in Katoomba that used to hold big race meetings but was to dangerous & has been left untouched since & is a good example of how race tracks used to be.

Well I went for a run up to bathurst on the weekend (my new hometown as of the 11/6/10) & there is plenty of roadworks on the Great Western so traffic will be a bit slow on the way home (I suppose most of you that have been to bathurst wont be suprised. I think the reason why the explorers to so long to get over the mountains is because they got stuck in roadworks. They even had time to carve their names into a tree by the side of the road while they waited ), but the Bells was a good run as long as there are no trucks!!

Still keen for this run, It should be a good one!!!
