A brief report on the day. We started at Uncle Leo's Cafe, headed off to the Campbelltown exit and on to Flower Power at Mt Annan to find a Cousin and some Irish plants. Off to the Camden Info Centre looking for a Platypus and some Arthur's. Trouble then started in the form of 2 wheel terrors while looking for a mystery location in Camden. A nice drive to Lake Burragorang look out then to Warragamba for lunch (some people got side track looking at people riding horse's and poking sticks at each other). From there we visited the new dam information centre then a drive to Oran Park Town to see the damage that had been done. We had 19 cars and over 40 people take part, winners were the Irish immigrant family (Liam) then Geoff,s better half, Glenice and Co. Followed by the Zeall,s and 4th new member Danny Rochfort and hired help. Special mention should go to Kirbee for encouraging children to throw rocks at ducks ( RSPCA has been contacted). I glad everyone enjoyed themselves, we now start plans for the next one. |

Guess that puts the theory of the Irish not being as smart as the rest to bed then?? Or could it be that we have broken the cryptic code of the way Roy and Louises' minds work? |

It was a great day.these runs are my favourite club activity. Thanks to Roy,Louise and Hilton for organising it.Their effort is much appreciated.Country roads are the best for these runs, would be great to do one to a rural town on a Saturday, stay overnight and cruise back by a different route on the Sunday. It would take a bit of organising though. |
