It was the clubs first All British Day for many years and we had a great turn out with many members backing up from last weeks display at Eastern Creek. Thanks to everyone that attended especially those who did come out 2 weekends in a row. Displays are the main way our club advertises itself to get more members, the public get a chance to see your cars up close and have a talk to you and find out what a great club we have. We noticed a lot of the public spending some time at our stand not just passing by. Other than a windy start the weather was great as Mark pointed out, I look forward to next year, we had a number of Cortina and Escort owners take info and Paul (pj1600) was giving autographs after his first internet interview for Just Cars mag. A big thanks to all the members that helped with the set up and pack up of the club stand, some are getting quiet good at it now . Photos are in the "Events Showcase" |
