Hi Phil,
Apologies but the car will not be ready for the dyno day on Saturday. The motor is still in pieces. Was going to have a chat at tonights meeting but couldn't make it. Hopefully someone can take the spot. Will head out to say g'day.

Another very interesting and enjoyable day, I learned a few things about my baby that I didn't know. Clever things those dynamometers a whole lot more revealing than a plastic tube down the carby throat and a timing light. Thanks to Roy, Phil, Mark and the team at Unigroup Engineering. Geebung |

Was interesting to attend and good to meet a great bunch of fellas and see all the older little Fords. They have heaps of personality .
It was very handy to get a dyno plot for my car finally and see how the mixtures run. It could use a bit more fuel, but I know the XR5 is lean standard as it's euro4 tuned from factory. It wasn't quite as lean as I feared it may, so that was a relief. I was also pleased it put up a decent HP considering how much an oven it was in there with the engine sucking air from the back of the dyno room . The sheet says it was 41 degrees celsius .
Here's my sheets. Engine is stock except a spacer in the air box to remove a restriction, and I have the resonator in the exhaust removed and a piece of pipe welded in there instead. Just for nice exhaust noise.
HP against air/fuels.

HP against boost. It's a low blow design with 9:1 compression and a relatively small turbo for quick response.
