Well done Roy, Phil, Hilton and the rest of the committee of the best Ford Club in NSW. I was miffed not being able to make it but job constraints stopped that. I even had the car all ready to go just in case I could change my roster, but to no avail.Never mind I was there in spirit. P.S. Hello to all my friends in the club, miss all.(Even Russell) Take care out there, I don't want you's to become one of my statistics. Laurie. |

I didn't get to see the car park to much but we did get a few new members that were out there, one I am sure of was a purple mk2 V6 Cortina. In a previous life it was gold with a shaker out the bonnet. |

What a great bunch of cars. I love everyone of them. I guess being nearly sixty years old its so great to step back in time and just imagine the cars the way they were, so much character and variety. I have as daily drivers the corollas and they are so reliable but wheres the passion? I am blessed in that back in the day i owned and drove such cars as twincam escort ,v6 capris, mk1 cortina gt, zephyrs. Its like im living in a paralell universe, one where your supposed to have a falcon with the big cubes and brag about how many horspowers there is, and my universe where one can actualy afford to drive wherever you want and have some fun doing it. For me small fords will always be where its at. Thank goodness there are likeminded people out there. |
