It is the largest static display in NSW about 1600 cars from clubs affiliated with the Council of Motor Clubs (CMC) there are some trade stands and all cars on display get to do a lap of honour around Eastern Creek you are also presented with a metal plaque to say you participated. There is some racing, around lunch time for everyone to look at. |

So I'm not the only one who has to get permission from SWMBO before I can attend.
Sorry I will be out of town for this one.

Here is a map of Eastern Creek we are in area C also we have been warned during our observation lap at 11.00 no burnouts, overtaking or hanging back then speeding up. This will result in you being removed from the event and our club not invited to attend next year so please do the right thing for all of us.
![]() Have your entry tickets clearly visable when you enter the gate this will make it a lot quicker for you to get in. |

Hi Laurie, been meaning to email you back. I was only warning the members to keep a eye out as I thought you may be working one of these mobile speedo checking stations or a breast testing unit ( I know the police force are into breast cancer awareness and its links to drink driving ). I have also heard a rumour that the Parkes area has its own water canon for crowd control, it consists of a hose out the window of a Escort. The driver has a special uniform to wear for his protection very similar to a wet suit as it can be more wet on the inside than the outside. Can you confirm this |

Phil,
Was a good day as it usually is out there. Weather was great and a steady flow of people walking through. I think there were 9 cars from our club on display, 4 Mk1 Escorts, 2 capris, Brians cortina, Roys camper (most popular car of the day, must be a sign of the times with housing affordability at a record low...) and 2 capris.
Sure you will see some photos shortly as most of the fellas had cameras.
Catch ya
