It's time again for one of our Dyno Days (including BBQ lunch) to be held on Saturday 4th July 2015.

Unigroup Engineering at Girraween will again be hosting a Dyno Day for the club with the event starting at 10:00am and expected to finish late afternoon depending on the number of participants.

We will also be holding a BBQ which makes this a great day out. You will get to learn a little about your small Ford and get to compare a wide variety of small Fords. The cost to run the car on the Dyno is $60.00 which gives you approx. 4 power runs and an expert diagnosis on the condition of your car’s engine.

This isn't about who has the most horsepower so don't be afraid to bring your car along. Parking will be available at the back of the complex in a secure location.

Unigroup Engineering, 17A Amax Ave, Girraween

See you there tomorrow...

Please come along and enjoy the day. It is a long day, but plenty of good times, we ask for patience...It takes time to get each car on the rollers...See you there for a chin wag...

You will see standard cars through to a few berserk cars trying to jump of the rollers as well...Plenty of like-minded FORD enthusiasts...

As this is a very popular event among members and with the large variety of cars we see on the day there will be strict guidelines to follow in running the day.

Firstly you must be a current financial member to participate, you can re-join on the day but you must pay your membership before being allowed on the Dyno. New members can join on the day but they must also pay their membership prior to running on the Dyno.

A running order will be introduced, that is, current financial members with rear wheel drive small fords will go on first. Followed by those members with front wheel drive small fords.

New members who have paid their membership will then be invited to run, again rear wheel drive small fords first followed by front wheels drive small fords.

Then remaining members with any other ford or make will be able to run on the dyno, again rear drive first followed by front wheel drive.

We have to run the day in this way as we want to encourage members to bring their small fords along and put them on the dyno. The day is about you learning about the state of tune of your car. It is not about who has the most horsepower or bragging rights. That is not what our club is about.

If you're not interested in running your car then please join us anyway and enjoy a great BBQ lunch. It's a great day to socialise and learn a little more about our cars.
